A 5 Mukhi Rudraksha held in an open palm

Our story

Rooted in Jaipur. Devoted to what is real.

Every bead and stone is chosen by hand in Johri Bazaar, Jaipur’s old jewellers’ market, and described exactly as it is.

Tatva means essence. We keep only what is essential.

Our promise

No miracles. Just the real thing.

We won't tell you a bead will change your fate. We will tell you exactly what you're buying, and stand behind it.

How to spot a fake Rudraksha
  • Certificate of Authenticity

Every bead and every stone ships with its own certificate. Scan its QR code to check it on our site.

  • Listed as it is

Every gemstone is listed on its own, with its own photos and weight: the stone you see is the stone you get. Rudraksha photos show a typical bead of that mukhi, and we say so.

  • Tradition, not guarantees

We share what tradition associates with each bead and stone. We never promise cures, fortunes or results.

  • Ask before you buy

Not sure which one is right, or whether it's for you at all? Write to us. A real person replies.

Questions

Frequently asked

Are your Rudraksha beads genuine?

Yes. Every bead is natural, with a clearly defined mukhi, and comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity that you can check at any time on our Verify certificate page. If you want to check any Rudraksha for yourself, ours or anyone else’s, read how to spot a fake Rudraksha.

How do I choose the right mukhi?

Begin with your intention. The guide above maps each mukhi to the qualities it is traditionally associated with. Many people begin with a 5 Mukhi, which is traditionally considered suitable for everyone. If you follow an astrologer, they may suggest a mukhi based on your birth chart. You are always welcome to write to us for help.

How do I wear it for the first time?

Rinse the bead gently, let it dry, then sit before a lamp and chant its mantra (or Om Namah Shivaya) 108 times while holding it. Wear it on a Monday morning, on a thread or chain, so it rests close to your body.

How should I care for my Rudraksha?

Keep it dry and away from soap, perfume and chemicals, and remove it before bathing or swimming. Clean it gently with a soft brush. Many people apply a drop of sesame or mustard oil now and then to keep the bead from drying out.
